nice day at the crag

Description

A nice little secluded crag located behind the StDavids Hospital Georgetown with 10+ routes set, 5.9-5.11. Developed by Luke Stollings in collaboration with the city of Georgetown, StDavids, CTM, and Southwestern University this beautiful crag has everything necessary for a hefty afternoon of climbing. This crag is new, being bolted in 2002.

Getting There

Take I-35 to Georgetown. Look for the blue "H" signs on the interstate exits, follow these blue "H" signs to the hospital. Once at the hospital, park in the rear lot. Walk to the radio antenna at the rear of the hospital, on the far side of the portable building from the parking lot. There will be a sign at the trail head with waivers to sign. SIGN WAIVER. Proceed down the trail head to the river bank where you will find this wonderful crag.
