The work order stated that the machine would shut down after about 3-5 mins of running (overheating). I took the top off of it and there was this layer of lint/dust/who-knows-what over the board that literally looked like a sheet of purple felt. You could just barely make out the caps and riser cards by the shape of the dust carpet so i very carefully, without breathing, put the top back on, gently carried it out front and proceeded to clean. The cleaning process consisted of deep breaths, blowing out the case, then running about 10 to 15 feet away to exhale, deep breath again then back over for more dusting. I put it all back together and it worked great. The guy used it everyday to write. So cool...

| Work - Windows XP Home - NEITHER! Ubuntu 8.10 (I am so glad to see two other people already post some Linux Love!)
If I can figure out how to read MS Access files on Linux and insert OLE objects in MS Word files, I will be off of Microsoft at work too. I really need to get a work computer than can handle virtualization.
