Gelbe Wände (Yellow walls) are the yellow walls you see from AST Garmisch if you look north west, just behind AST below the Kramerspitze. There are two walls with ten routes ranging from 5.8 ~ 5.11d (VI ~ VIII), the stone is a kind of loose sandy lime or clay loam.

Getting There Suggest change

You pass it on the way to Herrgottschroffen by way of Geiger Tecknik. Or if you parked across the river and took the foot bridge to Herrgottschroffen, go right (east) and it will be up the hill in the woods to your left. You have to bushwhack unless someone has since blazed a trail.
