Gotta pair of tried and true climbing or hiking pants that have finally busted, but you can't stand to part with? Don't. Have a special project idea for modifying something (say maybe adding some straps to a backpack, for example) but don't have the know-how or equipment to bring your idea to life?

I recently started a small sewing business, The Modern Gentleman, on the west shore of Lake Tahoe, and I would love to help you with repairs or project ideas you may have. I offer a variety of services (at a reasonable price) including, but not limited to:

- pant/shirt hems
- rip repair
- hole repair
- decorative patches
- re-purposing of old clothing for something new and creative
- zipper repair/replacement (or addition of a zipper)
- buttons (replacement or even adding a new button/buttonhole)

I must add that I don't do repairs or fabrications involving safety-related gear (harnesses, slings, etc). If you have any questions, please contact me via PM or at themoderng@gmail.com. Thanks!

This seams like such a great discussion, I'd hate to ruin it with a bad pun.
