Description 

This is a beautiful sandstone canyon that tightens as you head east. There are lots of drainages that have good potential depending on conditions for that year.
I have also known it to have no climbable ice for the entire year.

Getting There 

Drive south from Grand Junction/Whitewater on CO Highway 141 to Gateway. Stay on CO 141 into Gateway Canyon. The canyon has potential for about 50 miles to Naturita.
