This is on a black buttress just off the Hadley Gulch Trail. Gatehouse is the first climb you encounter in the Pup Tent area and one of the easiest. Ledgy and with good holds, this is one of the better first leads at the Tent. Take care not to knock some of the choss on the top ledge down on your belayer.

This is the first route at the Pup Tent on a prominent, dark-colored buttress. The climb just to the left is called Fist of Elder (5.10c).

This is another one of my routes. Sorry about the choss at the top out. When cleaning this route initially, I dislodged a rather large block at the top out exposing soil at the edge. Spent a day up there with a mc loud raking but have left the rest to time. Fist of Elder is mine as well; I named it after a fist-sized clump of box elder bugs I found on it while cleaning.

@ Bryan Gall: Thanks for all of the work you have done up there at the Tent. Do you mind others posting the routes here on Mountain Project to get the word out about what is up there?
