Description

A bustling and cosmopolitan resort town that is actually a twofer. Garmisch and Partenkirchen are hard to tell apart, but are actually split or adjoined by the DB train station. There are friendly people, good hiking, skiing, biking, and a few semi-decent crags to play on.

Getting There

TRAIN: Go to platforms 27-36 at the Munich Hbf. About one train every hour.
AUTO: Take the A95 South to Garmisch-Partenkirchen
