Hi people, I'm curious to check out Frustration Creek. I'm sure I can manage to get by with the info that's on MP, but I can't find any beta about access to the different tiers. Do these require approach climbs, or can you scramble up?

THANKS!

There are fixed ropes between tiers to aid in your scrambling. Healthy poison oak growth is on your left between tier 1 and 2...as well as many other places up there. Why am I starting to itch all of the sudden? The Freehlings

Just after the opening crux on P2.
As of Sunday, the first fixed rope to gain access to the upper tiers was missing. The climb up is only about 15 ft of climbing that is roughly 5.5 at its hardest point. John Ericson

Half dome Cables
the first rope that is usually "fixed" is usually taken down. crag developers and locals do that to prevent non-climbers or graffiti artist to trash the place.

It is about 5.5 that can be done in approach shoes if you're comfortble, but a lot easier with climbing shoes on. There is an anchor on top of it that you can fix a rope, to help others get up
