From SLC to Indian Creek, The Swell, Zion maybe, (you can choose, but let's go now)

I'm looking to go somewhere and climb. At this point, the destination is almost arbitrary, but I need to get out. I could leave as soon as...well, probably in about an hour, but I have to be back Tuesday night... which doesn't mean we have to stay that long or leave that soon. We just have to go and do something somewhere where there's big rocks and lots of sunshine. In general, I'd rather spend more time climbing than driving.

ME: I'm a trad climber (I climb comfortably in the tens, but I could have fun being more moderate, and I'm willing to throw myself at something more painful). I know my stuff, and I'm safe. If it's relevant, I'm a 25 year old male (but I don't look a day over 27). Still not sure about me? Fair enough. Um... would it help to see some pictures? flickr.com/photos/94155315@N00/ If that doesn't convince you... well, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
WHAT I BRING TO THE PARTY: a trad rack (doubles and triples, but I can probably borrow more because people trust me!), a belay device (with your name on it!) a mostly functioning Subaru wagon (unless it stops functioning), fairly good conversation (sometimes more quantity than quality), mediocre humor (but sometimes more quality than quantity), heavy doses of sarcasm (both quality and quantity).

YOU: I don't mean to sound so egocentric, but if you have most of the same (or just similar) climbing traits as listed above, I think we could be on to something. I mostly need you to be safe and not crazy.

Any questions? Ask. Have any better ideas in mind? Sweet. I'm down. Let's go.

wow. i'm in man. i can be ready to go in the hour as well.

i'm 20, and can act like i'm 50 or 5, depending on the situation. I think i'm safe, and my friends (who are all in logan or elsewhere right now) would probably agree. they'd probably wisecrack about me being OCD half the time, but that's about it.

I have the basics for sport, but no trad gear. i've got 93 subaru sedan, and i'm willing to drive. oh and it's in good running order. yes, i think i have similar traits listed.

as to whether i'm crazy... well let's just say i don't know what size straight jacket i wear.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
