anyone have any experience with forearm pain on the outside of the elbow right at the bone on the right side of the forearm. The pain is roughly the size of a nickle right on the bone at the base of the elbow. it hurts when I do just about anything...

thank you internet doctors

I had tendonitis and the pain was the worst right on the bone, as you have described.

It's way smarter to get a diagnosis from untrained guys like me who can't even examine your arm in person.

Sounds like tendinitis, this resource helps me cure mine every time it flares up. It's boring and takes up valuable climbing time but it seems to be the most effective treatment.

Brendan, how much do you curtail your climbing/training when you are rehabbing from a bout of elbow tendonitis?

None. It seems to work in parallel with climbing.

Google climbers elbow
There are some key treatment differences between tendinitis and tendonosis such as the usefulness of ice and anti inflammatories so you really need to try to match up your symptoms to one or the other diagnosis

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
