Sher-bear warming up on some tasty Fly Soup!!

Crawdad Canyon is private property. MORE INFO >>>

Description

Route is probably a bit easier than 5.7 other than maybe one move between the 2nd and 3rd clip. Good warm up, just beware of the hordes of onlookers from the pool.

Location

Find the routes at the end of the swimming pool and look for the plaque that says "Fly Soup".

Protection

5 or 6 bolts will get you to the lap links for your descent.

The route is a little slabby, but it is great for the kids.

A great route? Probably not. The most climbed route at Crawdad Canyon. Yes. For many people this may be their first sample of rock climbing. Bored but wanting to warm up and put up the rope for the beginners in your group? Then climb the route 3 different ways. Up the center. Using the crack to the left. Undercling the crack to the right. All back to back.
