Description

Tough mantle move over the low roof and straight up the face left of the corner.

  • #68 in MN/WI book.

Location

The face climb that starts under the low roof beside the corner. Set anchors and rap down.

Protection

Anchors at top off east side of platform. Sketchy setup left and well below the overlook. Use lots of webbing to set low enough. Do not anchor to the overlook platform.

K Ice,

I am confused by your comment, I was there just last week and there was a roof. Also the rock matched the picture in my guide book which is at least 4 years old. could you elaborate on what you mean?

fun climb. pull lower roof to sort-of slab to garden-variety Taylors block-stepping. A good chance of getting pelted from the tourist deck adds to the fun
