Five Ten Aescent?

I like the looks of the new Five Ten Aescent, but even though it states that it has a stiffer midsole I wonder how stiff it actually is.

The Crux is very light compared to other approach shoes, its got a good rand, it has good traction and smears well, its high quality leather (Five Ten's are low quality and wear out too easily IMHO), and they are very reasonably priced.
