DescriptionUsually sunny and exposed on the face of the rock. Hikers on the Angel Rocks trail pass right by the rock, but don't interrupt with the climbs them selves. The rock is very open and is a make up of Granite Getting ThereFollow the Angel Rock from the parking lot till you reach the First rock, just off trail to the left. A 30 minute or less hike.

A nice left-facing layback and jam corner on the West side of First Rock. The first 30' is the goods, with excellent protection. Above this, the rock quality and protection disappear entirely. Expect mossy, lichenous, hummocky slab climbing with ZERO pro on the upper half of the route. I think one could potentially take a grounder if they fell from up top while leading.
