Description
First pillar is separate from the main wall. Popular, fun moderates, most notably the aretes which are great for beginners and some ok trad leads. As with all the pillars, the toughest routes tend to be in the center of the faces, where you can't lean over and grab the edge of the pillar itself.
Plan for crowds. You'll find this area swarming with school clubs and guided groups on the weekends. There is almost always someone trying to get on "Bolts From Heaven."
