Has anyone tried these jeans? I can't find jeans that fit and the ones Prana, Organic and Marmot are making are way too baggy for me.

Thanks for the info, Maybe I'm too picky but the as$-stitching looks horrible: zappos.com/prana-theorem-jean

This sounds ridiculous, but consider looking into Sevens. They're stupid expensive (like $175) if you buy them at a department store but you can try them on there and then get them on ebay for like $40. Since they're so high-end, they stretch well (certain styles of them do) and are super comfortable. I love climbing in them.

So far I've been happy with the EB Uprising Jeans. They climb really well and feel more durable than a lot of the guide pants out there.

I have a pair, they fit great. Not baggy in my opinion, a little stretch to the denim. The articulated knees are really nice. I like that I can get a 34 inch inseam, perfect length.

The Costco close to me has Levi's Stretch 514 (great, modern fit) for $27. Bought 2 pairs this week as my new climbing pant. Enough stretch that they don't limit my flexibility in a high step whatsoever.

Yeah. But how does your ass look in them?

I have them and really like them. Not baggy for me, but I might have a larger circumference than most climbers. All the size offerings let you get the fit you want.

sounds like I might need a pair. My uprising is of large circumference as well...

I have a pair and the denim is surprisingly soft. Would I recommend them to a friend? Yup.

I actually just got a pair in the mail today and was trying to see if the reviews online matched your experiences, & it looks like they do.

I was not impressed when I received them, the fit in the upper thigh to waist was perfect but the length, 33x34, was not long enough. Their was a section of seam along the leg that was torn/ripped/missing as well. My wife really didn't like the pointless stitching along the fly and I don't care for the double belt loops.

When I got home tonight I busted out the seam ripper and fixed most of my dislikes. The original hem is 1" so I took that out and made it a normal 1/2" hem making the length an inch longer, I also sewed up the missing section along the leg seam. Next I took the stitching out on the fly that made my crotch look like a race car.

Overall I'm okay with the jeans now, the leg openings are still a bit wider than I like and the double belt loops still bug me, but they should work well for climbing in. Now I just hope the material actually holds up better than $25 skater jeans.

Climbing pants?? Arent any pants "climbing pants" while you're climbing in them? Try some good ol' broke in Levi's. I guess you won't LOOK like a climber at your local "micro brewery" but they work fine and thrift stores always have them.
Climb on.

I agree with the thrift shop purchases. I picked up a pair of new EBs at a thrift shop for 10.00$. Super durable, and a nice cut. Only complaint is that the denim does not stretch very much.

+1 Buy pants at thrift store, donate the difference to something that matters.

Define something that matters.

Last time I checked nothing matters.

me and my favorite pair o' climbing jeans about to hit the town

Jeans that cost $175? for climbing? That's Utarded.

Goodwill/Thrift stores are your best bet. Go hit up the ones in Provo and SLC and you might even score somebody's left over sevens.

I'm with you Jake, but all I get is an embarrassing camel toe.....
