I posted this in the Training forum and it got great response. Thought. I'd post here too.

I've been working with a psychology professor, Jeff Elison, to understand the nature of fear and how it affects my climbing.
Unlike gravity, fear doesn't work in one just direction and requires some special training. This article explores fear as it applies to climbing.
