Two of my favorites:

All bleeding stops eventually.
and
Don't panic--it's not you who's bleeding to death.

Day Lily.

I like Mitchys above. Here's my take: "Its cool you won't get pregnant...we don't need to use a condom"

Mine isn't as fun: not knowing is the most intimate

This saying/reminder has its importance when approaching a climb or area. Sometimes when a route has a gnarly reputation (good, bad, cool, fun, whatever) I admit I'm a sucker and can psych myself out. This saying, which is told by the Buddha, is amazing. Its amazing what you can do when you don't KNOW about it. Climb every route as if its the first time. Do it with ignorance, by not knowing and every climb is an onsight (not really but close enough).

Marvin and Greg scoping Crow's Heads Spires - snowed out on fall 1982 attempt

From the Devil's Lake group, AKA the Fuckness Association, I met in Yosemite I learned "Don't take any wooden pitons".

Then there's Kor's "Don't take sandstone for granite"

Another, "Always, no, never, um, no, always..."

From the Eiger Sanction,
"A climber always brings home his dead".
"Cut the rope above ya, John. Cut the rope above ya"
"Your limping, Ben"

A buddy of mine (jerry erb) said this to me in 1977: "Climbing requires a stable mind, more than the mind itself."
I made a T-shirt. (Works for me on many levels.)

Back when I started climbing my brother taught me that " climbing is a life long apprenticeship between man and nature". Also the classic "just do it"
