The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description
Scramble up past stacked blocks at the start to reach a short clean section of lower-angled offwidth and then dive into the steeper chimney above, wiggling your way to the top.
The route Safe Muffins starts the same as this but then breaks left midway to a belay on the dike; the upper portion of this route is the "escape".
