Description Suggest change

Probably one of the best wide cracks in Georgia and great training for those who want to do the classic routes out west. Just climb the crack from a stand start (probably only V3) or from a sit start on fat hand jams. The easiest way to do the initial overhanging offwidth part may be to hang from fist-hand stacks and then jam a leg / foot / knee way up in the crack (be sure to have good spotters!). Theres a good edge to stand on at half height and the top part where it is no longer overhanging is relatively easier old-school style offwidth climbing. Long pants, long sleeves, and shoes big enough to wear socks under them can be useful to avoid getting torn up.

Location Suggest change

Easy Crack Area. If you are looking at Easy Crack, go right through a corridor, duck under a little boulder and you'll be right there. Alternatively it's just around the left side of House Crack Area.

Protection Suggest change

Good spotters are critical to have on this route because getting a foot / leg stuck is a possibility.
