Description Suggest change

This is a crack to the left of For Love of Mothernot that is easy and a hoot. It lies on the left side of the second buttress of Mt. Thorodin in Golden Gate Canyon State Park. It could be considered a variation to For Love of Mothernot, but it is pretty different.

From the staging area for the CMC Route, scramble along a 3rd to 4th Class ramp heading up & left as for For Love of Mothernot. After about 60 feet, find a belay at the base of a large tree (2 x 48 in slings to girth hitch). Look up, and find the larger, left- facing dihedral with a crack between Outland and For Love of Mothernot.

Fire up the crack, pull into a lieback with slippery feet (brief crux), and continue up the fun crack to the belay ledge with 2 bolts.
