Description 

This uncrowded wall gets good afternoon shade, and offers a great variety of routes from 5.9 slots to 5.13 crimpfests, including some of Shelf’s steepest (and shortest) routes on the free-standing Incredible Hulk boulder.


Getting There 

Follow the trail from the old parking lot until a well-maintained spur trail signed “Far Side” heads left. Follow this trail to the far left end of the Far Side Wall.

Although in the shade for a good period of the day, when the wind is howling at Menses or Mural Walls, this cliff offers a good respite.

Dan, Slade here......just had a gREAT day at the Far Side. Andy took us here and we had the BEST time in the SHADE during a 90 degree day.....AND NO ONE ELSE WAS HERE!!!! Love this area. "I Can Smell Your Thoughts" is insane!
