Description

Around and left from the JBMFP Boulder is a massive boulder, the largest in the area, with a striking lieback flake on it's north face. Solid moves on this the whole way, but it gets pretty high and (pads or not) falling is probably best avoided. Two stars out of five.

Protection

pads, spotters

Fun stuff, but don't take the upper part for granted. I've witnessed a then laughing 5.11 leader fall flat on his ass because of a lack of foot work on this often walked problem. Dope and drink probably didn't help either...

This is a really fun problem! I think the old vogel guide has it listed as a .9, which felt about right. The crux is the top, and a fall would be bad because there is a large rock beneath you...

Dope and drink! Imagine that.
