Expose a web service to access MP data?

I would love to develop an Android app for MountainProject and it would make it more convenient if there were an exposed web service to access some of the information MP provides. Any thoughts on this from the MP team? I could discuss other design issues / justifications regarding phone-based apps offline if anyone was interested. :)
