Description

The Exnerturm is a spectacular and free-standing tower; it marks the East end of the Western cluster of Sella Group formations near Wolkenstein. There are 2 well known routes on the North face, and a Klettersteig (via Ferrata)traverses the South wall.

Getting There

Driving East from the road intersection of Groednerpass and Sellapass highways, one comes to a well-marked parking area provided by the Club Alpino Italiano (CAI) for the Pisciadu Klettersteig (Pisciadu "Brigada Tridentina"via Ferrata). The Klettersteig provides access to the North facing routes.
