Description

A small, quiet crag with good rock and sharp holes. The routes are from 5m to 12m long, and range from 5 to 9-. However, the ratings in the book are a bit extraordinarily sandbagged, so I'm doing my best to try and give the appropriate YDS grade here.

Getting There

The walk here is only 5 minutes with the car, and this crag is only a 10 minute walk from the train station, making it possibly the best crag to get to without a car.
Driving directions: Drive to Etzelwang, which is east of Nürnberg and northeast of Hartmannshof. In Etzelwang, park next to the recycling center on the west side of town (on the road leading to Achtel).
Walking directions: Walk down the road leading to Achtel and 100m after the sign indicating you're leaving Etzelwang you'll see a dirt road on the right. Head up this for 70m and you'll see a little path leading up to the crag.
