Description Suggest change

This is normally used only as a descent route back into the ravine. From the top, looking down, it is located right (East / Southeast) of South Gully. It is the lowest-angle "gully", although the funnel-shaped top can be a concern in avalanche conditions, just like South Gully.

DESCENT- There's a cairn with a shovel (or at least a shovel handle) at the top of the climb (Photo with coordinates, but apparently with poor cell reception the photos don't load) So....

Coordinates are:
44°16'15.8"N     71°17'18.6"W
  44.271061,     -71.288503

Protection Suggest change

Ice axe belay at the top section may be prudent if descending with novices,(... or under icy conditions that might preclude an ice-axe arrest! )
