BETA PHOTO: Escalator Wall.

Description

This is a very high quality wall. It is 90 feet tall with great rock...and a heinous, scree approach. Getting there is like trying to walk up a down escalator.

Getting There

This cliff is on the west side of the canyon. Approach up a loose gully. The exact milage is to come.

Avoid the thin dihedral by starting left, then avoid the imposing OW roofs by escaping right to another corner. This climb tops out and then follows a ridgeline to descend east into the Escalator Gully....[more]   Browse More Classics in CO
