Howdy folks, my lady and I would love to meet up with some climbers tomorrow to check out enchanted rock. we're down for Sport and Bouldering, not sure what the area has to offer (we're from Canada) but excited none the less. Lets have some good times!!!

1. It will be hotter than Hades.
2. There is no sport climbing at E-Rock, unless two bolts in a full pitch is a sport climb. The crack climbing is pretty fun though.
3. Bouldering may be okay.

Yeah I realize it's probably hot as balls, we're just passing through though so we'll take what we can get.

If you get out there early, there are a lot of bolted routes on the backside of the main dome that will be in the shade until late morning, early afternoon. Many of the routes are runout, but there are plenty of easy slab climbs where the runout isn't all that scary. Be sure to watch out for the middle mark on your rope when belaying and tie a knot in the end of the belay side of the rope. Many of the routes are longer than 30 meters. If you have a 70m rope, you should be okay on most, but not all routes back there. Having two ropes would be ideal in case you need the extra length to clean the routes. Have fun!!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
