Looking to hit EPC from Denver from around New Year's to mid January, I have a few partners lined up but all are the usual flaky dirtbags so I'm wondering if any Mountain Project folk will be in the area around then? I'm perfectly comfortable on long multi-pitch sport up to mid 5.11 and can redpoint the occasional 12 with some effort and a bit of good fortune.

Hey man. I'm working at El Buho all summer. Come on down and I would love to get out there with you. If I'm not able to, I'll probably be able to find someone else that's looking for a partner.

I'm in the same situation. Already have a flight into Monterray on dec 26th. Saying through mid jan. i lead similar grades, comfy doing mid11's. Time wave zero is on my list. It would be great to find some climbing partners down there.

Sounds like the makings of a neat trip - I'm guessing I'll see you all hanging around Hidalgo our wherever but if not we can use MP to meet up (as I assume I won't have a reliable tele). Check the post when you're down there if you find yourself stranded!

this does sound fun indeed Brendan! Stephen I just reviewed my itinerary and the 27th is when I actually arrive (12:20pm in Monterey), but yeah I would have totally been down.

If anyone is arriving on the 27th and would like to split a ride please reach out. Brendan and Stephan, are you guys planning on camping down there? Doing a bunch of family traveling prior to this so not sure if I'm going to be able to fit my tent and bag. Would be down to split rooms.

I do anticipate that I'll be camping but I've never been to EPC and so will probably choose lodging opportunistically - and probably do some bouncing around as well. Regardless if we meet up and hit it off I'm always down to split lodging costs, and of course cook group meals.
