Description Ascend the west face of The Egg, past 5 bolts. Chimney or stem up the gap between The Egg and the west wall of Texas Canyon to reach the 1st bolt. Pull pockets over the bulge, moving left to right on steep featured rock to the top of The Egg. Beware of loose rock and the poison oak at the base of this route and on either end of the gap between The Egg and the west wall of Texas Canyon.
Location Egg-zillaration is on the west face of The Egg.
Protection 5 bolts to 2-open shuts 20 ft. below the summit. There are two sets of anchors on the summit of The Egg. A pair of bolts with OLD rusted chains on the NE shoulder, above "Exhilaration," and a set of open shuts low on the west shoulder.

| You were not on the West face is my educated guess. If it was "superchoss" you were on that crap line of bolts called "Walking On Eggshells" 5.11+. Egg-Zill-aration is on the west face and is on excellent rock and starts out of the chimney & passed 5 bolts to the top |
