The detached tower feature on the northern edge of Godhead North. Named for its distinct resemblance to the Moai that were such stunning discoveries at Easter Island. Those statues are one of the world's great mysteries and it is amazing to be climbing at Faulty Towers, look across the valley to Godhead North and see such an excellent example of a Moai right here in Lower Devils!

Getting There

Access from the farther north of the two trails that approach Godhead North. This trail reaches the climbing area at the base of Easter Island Head.

Climbing Season

For the The Refuge area.

Figured out the way to the top of this remarkable feature and have scouted at least 3 routes up it with David. Will likely take a lot of cleaning, but will hopefully shape up into a gorgeous new tower to climb out here.

Curious what the two routes are on this formation? They were both high quality but definitely need more traffic to clean up. Can't miss them if heading to the area.

Sorry, haven't posted them yet! Will get to it as soon as DAS get back on them and decide on ratings and names. For now we're calling them "Roofs R Us" 1, 2 & 3. And, I don't recall what our working ratings were. Sometime soon, maybe, hopefully, we shall see...
