Description
This "F3" east face climb is the recommended start for any of the east face routes on Der Freischutz. It is about 200 feet long and provides for a summy climb on a winter afternoon. The easiest route up this solid face is on the northside.
Descent: Downclimb about 25 feet from the summit along the north ridge. Chimmey down the west side using a large boulder near the base of Der Freischutz.
