Description

Just before January 17th, 1994 this was a lieback flake - it all changed when the Northridge 'Quake hit.

Steep face climbing on flat holds above spikey boulders make this a memorable problem.

Location

East face on large boulder north of the trail when hiking away from the canyon boulders.

Protection

Spotters, pads, maybe even a rope.

Before the '94 quake we used to TR this as an easier problem. A few weeks after the quake I came upon 2 guys from Redondo Beach trying to get it on TR. It was sandy and much harder. They were failing but inspiring me. I was able to pull through on my 2nd or third try that day. I dimly recall one of the other guys may have made it too.
