Do not park in the residential neighborhood! Park in the designated lot MORE INFO >>>
There is an excellent parking lot available (thanks to the BC Climbers Access Society, I believe), but people continue to park in the residential areas anyway.
This information is a public crowdsourcing effort between the Access Fund,
and Mountain Project. You should confirm closures, restrictions, and/or related dates.

Description A right-facing corner with a nice crack in it. This is a good intro climb for new leaders. Plenty of protection.
Location Right under the large steel electrical tower.
Protection Standard Rack up to 2 inches. Gear anchor at the top. I suppose many tie off to the tower above, but I think that is verboten.

| This was my first Traditional lead and it was harder than a 5.5, I would say it is a 5.6 for sure. Short but sweet climb makes for an interesting lead. Reminds you that leading is leading no matter what the grade. Be careful of gear placements higher up in the climb as the rock flakes are hollow sounding and not ideal placements. Worth doing if you are just starting out leading on Trad. |
