My husband and I will be in Railay/Tonsai climbing mid-February and would like to do a bit of deep-water soloing.

Does anybody have any beta on good companies, etc.?

Any of the climbing companies in railay are good. They actually all use the same boat together. My wife and I went through Tex rock climbing, which is on the east side. It's next to mua tai and 123 wall. They take you out on a sailboat and provide lunch for you. Its around $30.00 a person / 1000 baht. I think they may also have other companies on tonsai beach, however they go out on a longtail boat and they were all full with people. It ends up being around 6-8 hours total of your day.

Easy enough to arrange the day before?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
