Doh, dropped my phone using the ACE temporary fixed rappel on Upper Peanuts in Eldo. If anyone does find it, I have high hopes that it could still be in working order.

Thanks!!!

Bummer.
Phone droppage wasn't in my rappel station evaluation criteria.
How did the descent go otherwise?

Hey Greg, rapped it two weeks ago. Thought the position was great psyched if ACE puts that rap station. Thanks for the benefit to the community.

Yep, thought it was a great position, no loose rock straight to the ground, and we were glad to have it. It will definitely minimize the erosion on that loose scramble down.

Thanks for your work

I usually climb and rappel with the phone out and my finger poised over the speed dial button for Rocky Mountain Rescue. Saves a lot of time, which can make all the difference in an emergency.

Brilliant! A deadman trigger for rescue.

haha gotta love the enthusiasm in this thread. Everyone loves to jump on an opportunity to rag. Well rag away but I am sure everyone has had their harness push something out of their pocket before. Used to happen to me all the time working shoveling roofs and washing windows. The lesson is their I have just yet to learn, its shameful really.

never know when you will need to order a dominos
