Hey guys I live in Philly and drive up to doylestown rock gym once a week or so to climb there crack wall they just put up. It consist of 4 different cracks with various sizing and was wondering if there are any pros at crack climbing in that area who can help show me the way. I can walk up the perfect hand crack but once it varies I peel off. Pretty flexible schedule but will probably be up there early next week if anyone wants help me out that be great! Thanks

Timm, I am no crack master nor do I go to Doylestowns gym. I am self taught though. If no one helps you I reccomend a book simply called `crack climbing` in the `How to rock climb` series by John Long. It is not written by Long but Steve Petro and his wife (who is badass but I don't remeber her name...). Or look up diagrams or youtube videos like wild countrys crack school `run` by the `wide boyz`. Good videos. THEN go play on those cracks you speak of. Experiment, experiment, experiment! It'll click for sure if you put effort into it. My effort, since Ilive far from a gym, was building 7 cracks from finger to OW in my house and running laps. It pays off for sure applying time and dealing with frustration.

Then head over to stoney ridge to try your newly found technique out on real rock. Ill meet you at stoney ridge sometime and we can climb together. I've never been but it looks nice, people rave over some of their crack routes, and its not far from you. Enjoy!
