Keeping climbing areas open and conserving the climbing environment
|
|
Description Head up the left side of a knife edge arete. The climbing gets steeper near the top. Barn door fighting the whole way. Beautiful and classic. Would be very popular if it were further down the hill. Using the face to the right of the arete is a touch harder.
Location Between the end of the paved road and the Ogre. On the south side of the trail. The face left of the arete can be from the trail. Climb is close to the trail. Morning shade.
Protection TR bolts. Anchor needs to be extended slightly to reach over the edge. Solo a short 5.8 to reach the top.

| I am really bummed that I didn't have my camera with me on this one. If you head out bring you camera and post a photo, this thing is really photogenic. You could get the ocean in your shot on a clear day. EDIT - Snagged the photo |
