Jaya slapping for the sloper on Double Dip. Photo ...

Add Photo  Add Comment    Printer View

Description

This problem is one burly little mother. Jump, or otherwise get yourself to a large jug 8 feet off the ground and campus some slopers until you can get a heel up, then crank through more slopers and small edges to top out. Side walls are off once your hands are on the start holds.

Location

Look for the steep cave boulder housing the Mattson Problem. This problem starts on the jug 8 feet up.

Protection

Pad and a spotter to keep you from falling sideways/backwards/on your head.

One of the best problems at BP. Start on the small corner with a small foot and to good hold on the left side of the cave entrance, reach up to a good chalked hold in the underside of the roof, hike those feet up and layback to reach the softball hold. Way cooler start then jumping. Also if you want to feel like you did a route start the traverse to the left and move into this start, careful of the pictographs.
