Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

This aptly named formation is at a curve in the Snake Wash, and when facing it, has an obvious double X on it.

Getting There

to the left of this formation is a prominent landmark. Probably best approached from the first parking turnout, where one would hike to the Mother Lode formation
