Description Suggest change

Convenient top roping area about 100yd. into the campground. From the pay station walk to one of the first campsites you see. From there head up the hill toward the "Top Rope Wall". The lil' crag is about a 5 min walk up the a trail next to the drainage. It is a great beginners area with a 5.5 crack(Dog Days), a 5.6 slab(Mr. Norman's Wild Ride), and a cool V1+ boulder problem(Betty). It is shady in the afternoon, and you will need static rope to set up TR's off a large tree. Also cams in the 2 to 3 range are helpfull in anchor setup. Also Dog Days can be led with a handful of cams, and it is an awesome beginners lead! The routes are somewhat clean but will improve with more traffic, and as for the granite... it feels like the rest of Horse Flats (so pretty good quality).

Getting There Suggest change

15 min approach from the pay station. Walk trough the campground to one of the first sites (about100yd). Then turn right and go up hill handrailing a drainage on a good trail (head toward Top Rope wall). Walk up hill for 5 min till the crag is reached on your right (see pictures).
