DescriptionDog Dome is a smaller formation located on the northeast shoulder of the more well-known Lembert Dome. Dog Dome is about 300' tall and hosts four recorded routes, the most popular being the North Face (5.8, 3 pitches). Getting ThereAbout 1/4 mile east from the TM Lodge, jump on the Dog Lake/Young Lakes Trail and hike north. Once in the open meadow, the north face of Dog Dome can be seen off to your left. A fun but somewhat forgettable 3-pitch route up the center of Dog Dome. Varied, with some OW, hand-jamming, chimneying, and face thrown in the mix.P1) Head up the obvious 8" wide crack in a shallow LF corner. Small gear can be placed in a crack on the right.
