Do not bolt at Fern!

This memorial day weekend someone bolted some new routes at the gully. here is the problem with that..
1. You bolted a boulder problem that should have never seen a drill, ever!!!! The route is so poorly bolted that if the leader did fall he/she would smack into a ledge from every bolt of the THREE bolts on the boulder problem.
2. You bolted a trad route. WTF??? If you dont have the balls to lead it that does not give you the go ahead to put a bolt in it. plus there is ground fall potential 80% of the time if you just use those bolt.
3.This was his first time to Fern Gully. I don't know him but he was from OKC....that would be like me going to your house and spray painting "Poser" on you garage door. Not cool. Learn to bolt at your home crag and not mine!!! Please...
4.The forest service does not like the hardware in the walls. The only reason we have what we do is because it has been there for so long, and they see it as a safety measure because we are going to climb it anyway. So, if you please, don't come from OKC and jeopardize our climbing access on some Crappy routes that you think you got the FA on.....
Out of the three routes that he did put bolts on, one is going to stay. The rest of the hardware is going to be stripped and used on routes that are needing replacements.

Please, think before you bolt... This could have, and may still, cause issues with the forest service, and is definitely causing issues with the local community...
