Description Suggest change

Another shoreline area with several established lines and lots of potential. Morgan’s Knob is more spread out than the nearby Pine Crest trail aka Lakeside Boulders. This area offers some great easy highballs and more mellow, moderate face climbing.

Getting There Suggest change

From the parking area, Follow large sign for Pine Crest Trail down and left from the parking lot. You will see a trail map in the grass before entering the forest. From here there are 2 trails. The left (green blazes) is for Pine Crest and the right (red blazes) is for Morgans Knob Loop Trail. Take the red trail to the right. Once you reach the large cluster of choss boulders, there will be a gorge to your left. Go off trail and cross the gorge. Once you get up the small hill on the other side, you will get to the Bridle Trail (white blazes) which you will go left on. All of the Morgan's Knob boulders are along this trail.
