If you have the will-power to save your dividends for another month, you can probably get yourselves some of the new BD X4 cams. I spoke with an REI agent briefly and it seems like BD will be shipping them out on April 16th, and that you can backorder the cams before that.

I decided to get rid of my old credit card and try the REI Visa. I guess it was worth it. Dividend is $450.00! I too am pretty stocked up on gear, but the two person bag mentioned up thread is sounding like good idea.

Jake, It is not necessarily money spent at REI. My wife uses her REIVisa for work travel.
Work then repays her for the expenses, and we get the points. Our dividends have been
in the $300-$500 range!

Got me the gri gri 2 and am going to purchase the micro traxion on Friday when the 20% coupon comes in, I also have the REI Visa.

The REI Visa is great as long as you pay it off full every month to keep those interest rates down. :)

Jake, you can spend your dividend as soon as the calculated amount shows up on the REI website (you enter your membership number and name). You don't have to wait for the dividend in the mail. I've done this a couple of times.

Get your dividend working for you again. If you wait till July, get cash from them. Put the cash in your bank account, spend on your rei credit card, then pay off the balance with that cash. You can earn more dividends this way
