Description

Dirt Me is on the far right side of the Highlander. It has an extremely obvious roof crack halfway up. It's hard to miss.

Location

This is on the east side of Highlander. It has a big roof crack, which is impossible to miss.

Protection

I only gave it PG-13 due to the chossy bottom.

Despite the eye-catching line, i.e.: a roof crack, this route is pretty bad. That said, there are enough detractors from the quality that it's almost worth climbing: the scary choss leading to the roof, the disconcerting flakiness of the rock, the decaying bird that your fingers tickle when you're in the best jams, the ubiquitous bird shit . . . aaahhhhhh. The second crux is more awkward than it is hard, and with an open mind it's even kind of fun. Traverse to the same anchor as Lord Of The Rings. The route is probably 12a.

That dead thing (we thought it was a mouse) was still in there when we climbed this in about 2011! I laughed when I saw mention of it from 2008. Pretty nasty route as Chris illustrates.
