Description

Part of Islands in the Sky the Dip Area is between the Doghouse and The War Zone - both south of Aftershock Wall.

Only a few worthy climbs exist here, all requiring gear. There are two well traveled 5.6's, including Under the Sleeping Giant and a good multi-pitch .10b called Famous Last Words. The rock quality is fair, but fragile in areas. Shady in the morning and sunny towards the afternoon.

Getting There

Park in the southern pullout and walk about 100' to a trail which leads to an arch. The routes are around the corner to the left.
