Description Suggest change

Dingmans Falls is PA's highest waterfall and is an even more impressive sight frozen. This is located in the mists of the Delaware Water Gap and is near another ice climbing destination, Silverthread Falls.

Getting There Suggest change

From Dingmans Ferry ( Intersection of PA-739 and US-209) go south on US-209 for 0.2 miles. Turn right onto Johnny Bee Mountain Road. From here the road forks, go left at the fork and travel another 0.5 miles from to the visitor center. This is considered to be the access road. This road maybe closed from time to time in the winter. If it is you just have to park at the gate and walk up the access road 0.5 miles to the visitor center.

To see if the access road is open you can call 570-588-2435. They will be able to tell you if it is open and if people have been climbing there.
