DescriptionDevils Gulch is the historical spot in which outlaw Jesse James Jumped the 20 foot wide canyon wall to escape the lawmen on his tail. Most the rock here is really shaded and sadly really dirty. The Park is kept up by donations and the City of Garretson. Getting ThereOnce you enter Garretson head on the highway towards the John Deere distributor and take a right or if coming in from North a left. The sign will be there also. I first did this route in 2004. Since then many people have done different variations of it. The exact route follows up the right side of the over hang on the wall. The biggest mistake i've seen is people dynoing to the nice ledge hold going up one more move and then jumping down. The original route i put up highballed to the top.
